The massive star population at the centre of the Milky Way offers unrivaled access to the most intense star formation that is taking place in the Galaxy. In this project our group at the CAB works on studying the stellar populations of three main populations: The Arches and Quintuplet clusters, and the isolated population of massive stars.
We have recently been awarded almost 100 hours of observing time on the James Webb Sapce Telescope (JWST) to study the stellar population of the Arches cluster (PI: A. Legault).
